There is a science test tomorrow: Better study up! study

You should know everything up to and including this week’s notes. Please pay
attention to the following:
1. What positions would cause an eclipse of the sun or moon?
2. What are the phases of the moon
3. New moon – Light faces away; Full moon – Light faces towards the earth
4. Geocentric and Heliocentric
5. Foucault Pendulum proves?
6. Rotation, revolution - causes? Means?
7. Polaris shows us what? Located where?
8. Where is Polaris? Ursa Minor- bottom of “kite.”

11. Who get direct sunlight? Who doesn’t? Why?
12. How does the distance/path of sun effect earth (closer/ further)

north?

24. Relationship between earth position from the sun and orbital velocity
